VISION

Barossa Bushgardens is a community committed to the native vegetation of the Barossa.

 

MISSION

Barossa Bushgardens

  • maintains models of ecosystems of the Barossa region;
  • engages and develops people with the necessary knowledge and skills;
  • shares the knowledge and practical skills necessary for the enhancement of the ecosystems of the region;
  • partners with the community in all aspects of development;
  • collects and propagates plants native to this bioregion; and
  • encourages the adoption of Barossa plants in gardens and landscaping.

 

If you have any time on Tuesdays or Thursdays, we are also looking for volunteers on our days for working in the nursery or in the garden.

Your tax deductible donation of $10.00 per year includes family membership, to ensure you are kept informed of news and events, including Plant Sales, Open Days, and Friends of Barossa Bushgardens meetings, and it helps to support the great work of our volunteers.
